Winter Storm Diego tracks across country

The Postal Service is closely monitoring Winter Storm Diego that could potentially impact mail deliveries in parts of North Carolina and Virginia between Dec. 8 and Dec. 10. Should wintry weather impact service, the Postal Service will provide updates as they become available.

USPS Service Alerts provide information to consumers, small businesses and business mailers about postal facility service disruptions due to weather-related and other natural disasters or events.

Visit www.ready.gov or www.listo.gov to prepare for hurricanes and severe weather.

Service disruptions

Residential customers and small businesses can learn if mail is being delivered, or if their Post Offices are open. Business mailers get more detailed information about USPS mail processing facilities, and the operating status of delivery units, as well as any impacts on mail delivery overseas.
